GOBA 2017 - Soundtrack - Getting in Gear by William a Jones

I merged one of my favorite tracks with a fairly old video clip I shot in Findlay, Ohio back in 2017.  I was riding in the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure (GOBA) event.  The soundtrack features my new recording method of using two microphones, one left, one right, true stereo.   I used it on both the rhythm and lead acoustic guitar parts.  Anyways...…

"Nature's Way" Album Being Remixed - Released track "Voyage Beyond"

Released way back in Jan 8, 2018,  this was my first attempt into ambient music..... this is a mixture of new age and classical, if that's possible!  With just a few adjustments, here is the remix:    Voyage Beyond The mixdown on this arrangement took a while.  There are many tracks to this song.  Therefore, I used Steinberg's Cubase Pro 10.5 internal VSTi  called Halion Sonic SE 3 and Spector.  Instruments used in Halion were: Digi Bass Element Organ Romantic Trumpet 1984 Synth Stab Spector started as the "Shanghai" preset but was modified several times for effect. On the Yahmaha MODX 7 Imperial Strings was used for keyboard and EDM kit for the drums.

 I've setup an account on Instagram  @williamajonesmusic It was a learning experience on getting a decent product to the platform.  Daily improvises, called the Video Jam Series, is my current project.  Some YouTube videos were also modified to run on the platform.    The Video Jam Series shoots live guitar and keyboard improvises.  Some jam motifs are worked out a few minutes before.  The goal is to capture improvised music.  Then, after initial recording of audio on both iPhone and Cubase DAW, the audio is processed.    Processing can include: Adding complementary instruments Adding EQ, compression, guitar amps, normalization, tempo detection, midi note editing   Importing video to Cubase, lining up audio files, exporting video with processed audio   Video is converted to the Instagram "square"
